24.01.08 Update - Game Polishing (again)

-PvZ Travel is going widescreen! (Some sprites are still not made to adapt to widescreen yet)

-The second wave of plant balancing has arrived, featuring some major changes:

Repeater: 175 sun -> 200 sun

Rotoradish: 200 sun -> 225 sun, attack interval increased by x1.25

Tall-nut: 12000 HP -> 8000HP, 25s -> 30s

Cherry Bomb: 30s -> 50s (starting cd: 35s)

Bamboom: 15s -> 35s, range: 5x3 -> 3x3

Doom-shroom: 35s -> 60s (starting cd: 35s)

Kiwibeast: 175 sun -> 250 sun, 30s -> 45s, slightly increased attack interval of phase 2 and 3, decreased attack interval of phase 1

Solartropa: Attack interval increased by x1.25

Ice-shroom: 75 sun -> 125 sun

Melon-pult: 5s -> 15s

Impale Cress: 7.5s -> 22.5s

MacIntosh Aipoi: 10s -> 20s

Golden Thunderbeet: 10s -> 20s

Grave Buster: 300 HP -> 200 HP (for some reason, unlike PvZ2 Grave Buster, having 300 HP prevents it from being eaten by most zombies. We changed it to be as similar to PvZ2 as possible in terms of interactions)

Multi-plyacinth: 5s -> 10s, attack power on land doubled, attack power in water decreased

Bomb-shroom: 250 sun -> 225 sun

Sun-shroom: 7.5s -> 5s

Aipoi: 500 HP -> 600 HP (the best buff ever)

-Slightly modified some levels, including all of Forest and Forest Mirror, Swamp Night 1, Swamp Mirror up to Day 11, Swamp Mirror Days 18, 19, 24, Icefield Day 6, Nights 24, 25, 27, Icefield Mirror Nights 1, 12, Days 16, 17, 21, 25, 27, Foggy City Days 5, 10, 11, 16, 21, 23, Laboratory - Abrightilon, Pumpkin

-A 7-seed-slot restriction has been added to all Normal Adventure levels. Again, this only applies to Normal Adventure levels. Purchase the last 3 slots using your coins.

-More ways to earn coins! You can now get a batch of coins for each daily clear in Events -> Angel Shadow’s Hut -> Daily Challenge! Or embark on an endless adventure in Events -> Spring Festival 2022 and get coins based on how many levels you’ve cleared! And let’s not forget about the hefty amount of coins you can earn on your first clear of Spring Festival 2023!

-Spring Festival 2022 has received an extension, now with more randomization than ever!

-Revamped some UI and added Spectate Lawn and Repick Plants features

-Sun Shovel, Sun Headstart and Bonus Seed Slot are added to the Store

-The game will now skip to the next wave almost immediately after all zombies in a wave are defeated, instead of waiting for 5s like before 

-Fixed a bug where Speed Tiles play their sound a bit too constantly

-Fixed a bug where Lost Sand’s Heat Waves in Days 4 and 5 made it so hot that it froze the game

-Fixed an animation error of Umbrella Leaf

-Fixed Multi-plyacinth’s abnormal attack behavior while on land (obviously it is not supposed to be a laser bean). Multi-plyacinth’s ability description is now more detailed.

-Fixed a bug where pre-selected plants might not show up at fast game speeds

-Fixed a bug where phase 2 Kiwibeast had phase 3 stats

-Fixed some inconsistencies in Invisi-ghoul levels. HP bars are now disabled in these levels. Status effects except chill are now visible on invisible zombies except Sadako Zombie.

-Fixed abnormalities of zombie spawns at high game speeds and low-end devices

-Fixed an issue that made the level “Pottery Arena” impossible

-Fixed a bug where Zomboni, Beetle Car Zombie and Gargantuar can’t kill flowers

-Spikeweed can no longer damage flying Balloon Zombies

-Winter Aloe can now disable Cigar Zombie’s ability

-Miracle Imitater no longer triggers his ability when killed by missiles

-Bamberry no longer explodes when transformed by Magical Icicle Zombie

-Golden Thunderbeet can now be killed by Gargantuars even when he’s transforming (Do note that zombies only target Golden Thunderbeet’s tile if there’s another plant on it)

-Ice-shroom no longer makes zombies temporarily visually disappear, hopefully

-The Store no longer deducts your coins incorrectly when purchasing an item

-Tombstones no longer spawn “undefined” text

-Explosions now thaw enemies, fire no longer cancels dazed effect

-Dark Storm now keeps flashing during seed selection

-Added new visual effects for crystals and zombie healing

-Peppercopter can no longer hit Imps in water

-When Magical Icicle Zombie’s target is gone while he is casting, his icicle will still be fully charged, and he will immediately attempt to find and transform a new target, instead of waiting for the icicle to be charged again

-Tombstones now toss plants occupying their places to other locations instead of killing them. Certain plants like Peppercopter won’t be tossed.

-Improved waterway graphics and certain waterway interactions. A less laggy day-night transition is now used in Nostalgic Mirage when Low performance mode is turned on.

-More sprites for Pointichoke and certain armored zombies. Wall-nut’s First Aid now works on Pointichoke.

-Refined some HP bars

-Fixed a bug regarding one of the semi-secret achievements. Some achievements now have new graphics.

-Please report to us if you have trouble exporting levels in Level Creator on mobile.

-Please report to us if the language switching button still does not work properly on mobile.

-Other minor bug fixes

Fixes regarding the beta patches:

-Danmaku levels now work normally on mobile

-No more infinite planting glitch. If you still see it in a certain level please report immediately

-Dragging seed packets is now possible on mobile

-Additional "selected seed packet" and "row/column highlight" indicators have been added

-Fixed some bugs with Foggy City Day 20 dialogues

-Fixed some controls being messed up in Level Creator on mobile

-Fixed a bug where flying Balloon Zombies completely ignore brains

-Fixed a bug where Barrel Zombie stops moving every 3rd time he moves

-Inflation: Squash now costs 15000 coins
